Annual Christmas Party Potluck and White Elephant Gift Exchange

Please join us on December 9th as we celebrate the Christmas holidays with a potluck dinner and white elephant gift exchange. The party will be providing a honeybaked ham and Jim King will be smoking a turkey. Please bring a side dish or dessert to share.
The great food is only half the fun! Our white elephant gift exchange has become a favorite annual tradition. To participate, bring a wrapped gift with a value of $5. You never know what you’ll wind up with after the swapping and stealing…but one thing’s for sure, we’ll have plenty of laughter!
Please RSVP by sending an email to christmas [at] pauldingrepublicans [dot] org by Wednesday December 7th. In your email, please include your name, whether you are bringing a guest and what type of dish or dessert you are bringing for the potluck.

Our 1st Annual Christmas Cards for the Troops card signing event!
If you have a pen and an hour of time, you can help deliver Christmas joy to the men and women who are fighting for your freedom!
This December the Paulding County GOP is going to help spread some holiday cheer to our nation’s servicemen and women. How? With our first annual Christmas Cards for the Troops card signing event!
The Paulding County Republican Party will be participating in the “Holiday Mail for Heroes” program coordinated by the American Red Cross.
It’s simple…all of our party members are invited to join us at 7:00pm on Thursday, December 1st at the Paulding Family Alliance Center to sign Christmas cards that will be mailed to the Holiday Mail for Heroes headquarters for distribution to soldiers.
We have a supply of donated Christmas cards, but we welcome your donations as well. Have you been wondering what to do with the extra cards from past Christmases? Bring them to our card signing party, and your unused cards will be serving a great purpose!
This event will be a lot of fun and will give us a chance to enjoy some time together before our hectic holiday schedules kick in to high gear.
We’ll have Christmas music and refreshments, pens and cards…we just need you!
What: Christmas Cards for Troops
When: 7:00pm on Thursday, December 1st
Where: The Paulding Family Alliance Center – located at 210 Oak Street in Hiram (under the water tower)
Please note: The American Red Cross cannot accept cards with glitter due to potential health risks for soldiers in rehabilitation.
A Letter from our Chairman
Warm wishes to all of my fellow Republicans on this chilly but beautiful Veteran’s Day! Words hardly seem sufficient to express my gratitude to the men and women who have served, and who continue to serve, our country. Sometimes it’s a bumpy road, but I never stop believing that we live in the greatest country on earth, and we have veterans to thank for the honor and privilege of being Americans.
Thank you to all of you who have served or are currently serving in our nation’s armed forces. I believe I can speak for all members of the Paulding County Republican Party when I say that you have our deepest gratitude. Simply put, our freedom wouldn’t exist without you. That gratitude extends to the family members of our service men and women as well. Your sacrifices are many and great, and we thank you.
We can never thank our veterans enough. We set aside this one day of the year to honor these brave men and women, but we should never forget that we wake up as a free people in a free country each and every day because of the courage and sacrifice of great Americans.
Thank you and God bless you. May we all enjoy this beautiful fall day with a prayer in our hearts for all of our nation’s veterans, both those still with us and those who have departed.
Respectfully,

Joseph Gullett
Chairman, Paulding County Republican Party
